Fantasy Grand Prix 2025

Introduction

Some years ago Autosport started up Fantasy Grand Prix as a competition for its readers with a rather tasty prize for the winner (a visit to the Australian GP if my memory serves correctly).

One of my then work colleagues, Jon Cox, ran a competition for the half dozen or so guys in the group he worked with, using Autosport rules and calculating all the scoring manually. Soon after I joined Jon's competition, he was bemoaning the effort involved in calculating all the scores. I said that I thought an Excel spreadsheet would be a much easier way of dealing with the problem and offered to help.

This site grew out of that offer.

The 2025 Competition

F1 came to Regent Street on July 6th 2004 and I was there. The sights were great but the sound was fantastic. The very few presentable pictures I managed to take can be seen here (the camera is much better than the driver).
